May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him
(Romans 15:13)
ENCOURAGEMENTS FROM THE FELLOWSHIP AND OUR FRIENDS:

From Ray & Helma: Thank you Philip for your sermon this morning "Our Father". We are missing our physical church very much as I am sure we all are. Christian Love and blessings to all.

From Dawn: I found a sweet quote this week from Jonathan Parkinson of Caring For Life;
“Hang on to the hand that lifted Peter from the stormy sea,
The hand that cleansed the leper,
The hand that gave speech and hearing to the deaf mute,
The hand that gave sight the man blind from birth,
The hand which holds scars that speak of His love for you”

From Ray & Helma: Philip, it is so nice to hear your voice, we thank you for your sermon. With God's blessing we shall be back at church together soon.

From Dawn: Praise the Lord for this amazing weather that He has blessed us with since lockdown began. It has been such a joy to go outside everyday and see spring unfold before me. It has reminded me of the verses in Genesis 8v22 which say;
“As long as the earth endures, seed time and harvest, Cold and heat, Summer and winter, day and night will never cease.” Praise the Lord for His ongoing mercies and love to us all.

From the Prophet Ezekiel :  "...I will break off a tender sprig from its topmost shoots and plant it on a high and lofty mountain ...it will produce branches and bear fruit and become a splendid cedar ...they will find shelter in the shade of its branches ..."I the LORD have spoken, and I will do it." (17:22-24):

From one of the Psalmists:
I was pushed back and about to fall, but the LORD helped me...
The LORD's right hand is lifted high; the LORD's right hand has done mighty things!"...
Open for me the gates of righteousness; I will enter and give thanks to the LORD...
You are my God, and I will give You thanks;...
You are my God, and I will exalt You... (Psalm 118:13-28)

From Ray and Helma
We give thanks to Jonathan and Rudy for the remote service and God's word. We pray for Philip's continuing treatment and cure. We give thanks to God for His Spirit working in the world in governments and leaders may God's word continue to strengthen and fill us with hope.

From Jonathan: There is so much to give thanks to God for in the midst of this crisis; see the Prayer Page for links to the following articles:

From Ray & Helma:
Christ has risen!

From Dawn:
Christ is risen indeed dear brothers and sisters! What an amazing truth and joy for us to cling onto as we continue to go through these difficult days of isolation .
John 14v27 - ‘Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you.I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.‘
Amen

From Audrey:
A wonderful song for this wonderful day:
   See, what a morning, gloriously bright,
   With the dawning of hope in Jerusalem;
   Folded the grave-clothes, tomb filled with light,
   As the angels announce, “Christ is risen!”
   See God’s salvation plan,
   Wrought in love, borne in pain, paid in sacrifice,
   Fulfilled in Christ, the Man,
   For He lives: Christ is risen from the dead!
