SUNDAY

Worship Service

The whole fellowship meets to encourage, learn, pray and praise
We meet every Sunday at Burleigh Hill Community Centre in St Ives, Cambridgeshire. where all the church joins together for worship. It's a fairly traditional service with a mix of singing; prayer (both led and open -for anyone to join in) and a good, sound sermon based on the bible.

We sing a mix of songs; old hymns, old hymns to new tunes and contemporary worship songs. An open communion is held twice a month within this service.

Someone is usually there from 10:15 setting up and the service starts at 10:30, We'll have some time for refreshments and fellowship afterwards.

 LADIES

Fellowship

Informal fellowship in peoples' homes
Meeting monthly on a Saturday morning in someone's home, this is an opportunity for more intimate fellowship.

A time for bible study, sharing, praying together and encouraging one another over tea and coffee.

PRAYER

MEETING

A midweek evening meeting in someone's home. Usually the host will open with a short word of encouragement before we begin a time of open prayer.

In that prayer time we'll bring prayers of worship, ask for needs to be met, express our hopes and desires, pray for our world and for the lost.

We meet on a Tuesday evening, fellowshipping from 7:45 with the meeting starting at 8pm and finishing at 9pm.

BIBLE

STUDY

An informal midweek, evening meeting in someone's home where participation is encouraged by the host.

We believe the Bible is God's word, living and active (Hebrews 4:12) and useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training (2 Timothy 3:16). We use this time to search out what it is that God would have us learn from His word and how to apply it today.

We meet on a Tuesday evening, fellowshipping from 7:45 with the meeting starting at 8pm and finishing at 9pm.

SHARE

TIME

A midweek evening meeting in someone's home where everyone is encouraged to talk about how God has been working in their lives, and the things they've learned from him or been encouraged or challenged by.

We will take time to pray together and occasionally sing too.

We meet on a Tuesday evening, fellowshipping from 7:30 with the meeting starting at 8pm and finishing at 9pm.

MISSION

SUPPORT

Most in our congregation have served actively in the ministry of the gospel, we continue to do that to when we're able and support others when we're not.
Last year our members served in the UK, Brazil and India supporting churches, orphanages, schools and the homeless.
We focused our prayer and financial support on these missions;
In addition to the above we supported independent missions, missionaries and Christian workers in Brazil, Kenya and the UK
